Runners must wear :
- a race number: placed on the chest, stomach or leg (i.e. on the front of the runner) so that it is fully visible at all times during the race and can be registered by volunteers at checkpoints. Numbers may not be worn on the runner’s bag or back. Only one number will be issued for the entire race.
- a via ferrata or climbing helmet
- a climbing or ski mountaineering harness that complies with CE or UIAA standards,
- a lanyard with an energy-absorbing system for via ferrata use, complying with UIAA128 standards or CE marking.
- a headlamp (Sunday stage only).
This equipment must be presented for inspection and sealing at the time of number collection.
- 1l water supply,
- energy bars or gels
- a whistle
- a windbreaker,
- a survival blanket
- a telephone.
This equipment is required for each runner, who runs the risk of being disqualified on race day if he or she does not present this equipment to the race officials at all times.
