The Image Festival

The Image Festival aims to promote a type of nature photography based on an intimate, ongoing relationship between the photographer and his or her environment. It favors photographers working independently, whose images are mainly the fruit of their own work, reflecting a privileged relationship with a mountain they know perfectly well.

More broadly, the festival is an opportunity to encounter the mountains and their environment.

Practical info

As every year, the festival’s photo competition rewards the best photographs submitted in the general and “young talent” categories.

This year’s theme is “Interaction”.

Surprise the jury with your best images of subjects interacting with each other: in street photography, wildlife, portraiture, and many others, the possibilities are endless!

Entries from March 3 to June 15, 2025. The finalists will be announced on June 25, and their photos will be exhibited during the festival.
