Top 5 activities at the summit

We’ve come up with 5 ideas for activities you can enjoy at altitude . From La Joue du Loup or Superdévoluy, take to the lifts and share different experiences to relax, have fun with the family or simply marvel at the scenery that surrounds us.

1.

Yoga altitude

Looking for an activity that combines well-being and contemplation? Altitude yoga is for you!
Every Wednesday in summer at the summit of the Jas, and every Friday at the summit of the Fontettes, join Marilyne for an altitude yoga session.

Please note: this activity requires online booking and is limited to 15 people.

2.

Festoure Horizon

Once a week, every Thursday morning (and on August 15, 2023), take the lifts up to the top of La Festoure at 2,250 m altitude. Take in the panoramic views from the top and walk down to the resorts. Follow the pink markers on the right as you come down from the La Festoure chairlift, which will guide you to Superdévoluy or La Joue du Loup.

Please note: this hike requires equipment suitable for medium-mountain conditions. Don’t forget to bring plenty of snacks and water.

Bonus: the view! A 180° view of the Garnesier – Grand Ferrand – Obiou range. In the background, the Vercors, Chartreuse, Valbonais, Ecrins, etc.

Note: Access to the Festoure lift is from 10.30am to 12pm only, and pets are not permitted. In the event of bad weather, or if fewer than 12 people register, we will offer to reschedule for the following day.

3.

Pétanque 2000

Do you play pétanque, but have you ever played at an altitude of 2,000 meters? At the top of the Jas chairlift, you’ll find two equipped courts, accessible with a pedestrian pass.

Plus: You haven’t packed your triplette? You’ll find logoed triplettes at our sales outlets. And don’t hesitate to ask the ski lift attendants to lend you what you need, on presentation of proof of identity.

4.

Giant hammock and cairn trail

At the top of the Fontettes telemix, you’ll find a giant hammock where you can sit back, take a nap and fill your smartphone with souvenir photos! A few steps from the hammock, you’ll find the start of the cairns trail, which will guide you to the La Joue du Loup station (400 m vertical drop).

Plus: an orientation table 100 m behind the hammock to help you read the Devoluard peaks.

5.

The Mouton Barjo treasure hunt

It’s your turn to play!

One moonlit night, one of Dévoluy’s sheep seems to have wandered off near the observatory… Flash! Blim! A beam hits him head-on and he’s transformed into Mouton-Barjo! From then on, his new nature leads him to distort his environment… We can’t let that happen.
Who will rise to the challenge and save the massif? Who will stop the Barjo-Sheep?

How to play? Using your smartphone with the Ledévoluy.ski app! Go to the top of the mountain to start playing.
A map of the terrain appears. Immediately locate all the spots that the Mouton-Barjo has polluted. Follow the path, go to the spot and unlock the stage riddle. Take a good look around you: observe, decode, cogitate… Do you have the answer to the riddle? Well done, the sheep is back in color! Continue on to the next spot.
4 steps, 6, 8… play as many as you like! The game is for everyone, kids, families, adults, friends, lovers or connected grandpas and grannies.

Bonus: the game is free with every package purchase!
