From the Tourist Office pass under the multisports ground under La Place des Boutiques and head towards the "Les Terrasses" residence (about 100 meters) and take a path on the right between the residences which will take you to the "Clot Lachaup" sign. . From the Tourist Office pass under the multisports ground under La Place des Boutiques and head towards the "Les Terrasses" residence (about 100 meters) and take a path on the right between the residences which will take you to the "Clot Lachaup" sign. . At the sign "Clot Lachaup", turn left along the road for 200 meters to join the easy forest track which crosses the wood of Chagier and which leads directly, at level, to the Col du Festre. At the pass, we cross the road to go on the eastern side on a pastoral track. At 100 m, at the crossroads of Brusq, the path goes to the right towards the hamlet of Coutières. From there, we take a track that goes to Lachaup through vast cultivated areas. In this hamlet, opposite the "Le Rocher Rond" stopover lodge, you take the track, facing north, to reach the Serre Long crossroads. On the right, the path descends to Maubourg then to Agnières en Dévoluy.
Behind the church, you then go up the path to the right that leads to Le Forestier and then, after crossing the RD 17, you reach the start of the hike.
